  • My friends are working at a school. Me and them graduated high school 2011 (last year) anyway they have a job at this school and I want to work there. What's the best way to get the manager to give me a job there? I emailed her and she said there were no positions now but there "might" be in May. My older brother and his wife agreed that to get a job you want you keep asking the manager often until they give you a job, and some people say otherwise. What would be the best thing?

I don't think you should keep pestering her over phone. What you can do quickly now is to thank her for considering you during May. Meanwhile, what you can do is to show your talent by periodically sending her some article / write up about how you intend to execute your job once you are selected. May be 3 such interim write ups between now and May if you do it, it will automatically work like a reminder to her and during May when you contact, you may get positive reply. Try this.
