Infrastructure ---- bad road and black out will affect its attractiveness Shipping cost ---- Try shipping from Mongolia to the U.S. Government RedTape --- You don't want to wait for 10 years to get an approval to build a factory Supply Chain ----- If your products need a lot of parts from China, why move it to Mexico ? Safety ---- I am sure Afghanistan is cheap, but your factory won't last long Skilled workers ---- Some products require skilled workers to make, are you able to hire any locals there? Do they have the necessary education to learn All of the above made coastal China an excellent option. If anyone wants to beat them, they need to go thru this list.
