Why cant holly wood make a good anime moive?

they can, the problem now a days people mostly teens and young adults want to see a movie about a skinny *** guy and a sweet looking girl.....just wait..later they will figure it out and begin to make them...example the video game industry is becoming big and even movies based on them are set to be make and released...

Why would they waste their money on an anime? Only people into anime are going to see a cartoon film and most adults are not into cartoon usally cartoons are watched by children and teens and therefore the producers would be losing money instead of gaining plus most actors want to act take transformers for an example amazing in great quality and effects and makes millions for everyone in the filming crew and acting and is still the same price as every other movie

because they would screw it up... Dragon ball Evolution was Crap... even if the japanese let them have a license they would make it all mainstream for the american public. While that isn't necessarily a bad thing.. it would ruin what made the anime good in the first place. Hell look at the live action Gantz movie that came out last year in Japan. They took out most of the violence and all of the nudity that was an integral part of the story. Don't get me wrong. I would love to see the Live Action Akira or Cowboy Bebop movie but American "sensibilities" would water it down to the point that it would be unrecognizable to the fans who knew what the hell they were watching.

Because anime is from Japan and only Japan knows how to make a successful anime- they were the ones to create it in the first place! Anime from anywhere else just doesn't feel right.
