How do I change my sign in email for my xbox live account?

  • When you make an xbox live account, it asks you to register an email which you will use to sign in. Then it asks you to register a contact email. Is it possible to change my actual sign in email to another email? Also, if I don't own the sign in email, but I own the contact email, will I be allowed to recover my account using the contact email, and at the same time still sign in with the other email? For example: Say I use an email to sign in with, that's called [email protected]. Let's pretend I don't even own that email, and it's already taken but I own my contact email. If for some reason my account gets stolen, can I recover it using my contact email? Also, will the person who owns [email protected] be able to hijack my account? Thanks, and sorry for all the questions.

    Log into your xbox account on your xbox360. Then you have to go to account settings when you go on ! Then it will most likely say change windows live ID. After just put in your old email with the old password then it will ask you for the new email and password
