Where can I get a download for "scan.msi?

If I download DLC characters for MVC3, will I get them free in UMVC3?

• I bought Marvel Vs Capcom 3 for the Xbox 360 a year back. I didn't really think about downloading Jill and Shuma-Gorath, until Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3 came out. About a month ago, my brother bought It, and wanted me to use my 840 Microsoft points to download him the characters. UMVC3 has the same exact 2 characters for DLC download for 400 Points. If I download them for the original Mvc3 game, Can I get the characters free in the Newer version of it? I don't want to buy more points for the same 2 characters. It'd be like $20 worth of points for 2 of each character. Ps: The only way I can get the points is with Xbox Live rewards, but I only get 100 points every 5 months, and My points for the last 5 months is being deposited in about 13 days. SO, I won't wait a few years just to get them again.

  MVC3 DLC is compatible with UMVC3, so you will not need to purchase any of it again. The only thing that doesn't carry over is Shadow Battles, but costumes and characters do.
