What's the best PC action game and why?

Whats a good pc recent pc game?

• ME and my gf are looking for a new pc game. An rpg or shooter, similar to skyrim/elder scrolls series or Dragon Age and Mass effect series. Shes not really into full fps's like MW or GoW though, so something more rpg based. Was looking at crysis, since it seams to have a good storyline and with the different modes for the suit it adds some strategy to it. She still thinks its a bit too much of a shooter, but thats kinda what im looking for. Rpg would be good, melee rpg, shooter would be fine if its got something else like strategy or a good storyline in there. Bioshock was another game we were thinking about, so anything on what would be better between bioshock or crysis would be good, or if you know any other games like that it would be greatly appreciated. ty

  RPG/Shooter hybrids: Fallout 3 & New Vegas Borderlands RAGE Mass Effect series Dead Space 1 & 2 (rpg elements, more shooter than rpg) Shooters: Crysis 1 & 2 Battlefield Bad Company 2 & Battlefield 3 Fear 1, 2, & 3 Half Life 2 (not exactly recent, but still fun) RPGs: The Elder Scrolls series (i'd have more but I'm not really into rpgs anymore...)
