Beyond age 60. Here's your answer from the CDC (Center for Disease Control) http://www.cdc.gov/cancer/breast/statistics/age.htm And the NCI (National Cancer Institute) agrees. http://www.ehow.com/about_6570485_age-breast-cancer.html Like many cancers, Breast cancer incidence increases with AGE. That's why it's so strange that teens keep asking about breast cancers at age 13 or 14. We just do not see it in women this young.

This is just my thought but I also do work for a obgyn office..u can get breast cancer really at any age but at our office they want u to do a mammogram starting at age 35 if cancer runs in family or have anyone related to you with any type of cancer. If no one in family has any type of cancer then age 40 u MUST do a mammogram and then continue doing once a year after ur first one. Also we like to enforce our pts to do daily breast checks while showering or bathing. The doctors I work for always say the pt is more likely to find something as a lump then a doctor esp if u check on an everyday basis because no one knows ur body more then ur own self. So I suggest if ur at the age of 35 and cancer does run in family or age 40 then please go see or call ur obgyn and ask for an order to do a mammo and continue doing every year. I know I probably didnt answer your question but thought Id still pass along the information I know. I strongly believe there is no maximum age of a woman getting breast cancer I think you could get breast cancer really at any age, but at age 40 is when obgyn's want u to start doin mammograms and every year after ur first one. Age 35 if cancer runs in family...well, sorry if my answer wasnt exactly what u may have wanted to know, but I still hope I helped u out with the information I know...

I don't think there is such a thing. Women get it in their 20s all the way up to their 80s.

It can occur at any age from the late teens onwards but risk increases with age. 80% of those diagnosed are over age 50 and post-menopausal.

I was diagnosed at the age of 42.
