I have samsung galaxy fit S5670 (android 2.2). I am having problem in tranferring applications from phone memo?

I have samsung galaxy fit S5670 (android 2.2). I am having problem in tranferring applications from phone memory to sd card.i have 1.73GB free space in sd card but my phone has a little memory space left as a result i am unable to download new applications or update any existing application.I went through some online guidelines of moving applications to sd card.(Settings--->Manage application---->select any application---->Move to sd card). Now the problem is "Move to sd card "is not highlighted in my phone (some applications are there in sd card and button to move it to ph memory is highlighted). I also went to some sites where it is mentioned to download Software Developer Kit (SDK) to transfer the applications to memory card but that application will also need space in phone memory,which is not available in my phone. Please guide me...........
Answer:

Android 2.2 Froyo doesn't support moving applications to SD. But you should try app2sd application from play store.Gingerbrad and later versions support moving and installing apps to SD card
