No. They're fictions found in novels and movies.

I've said this before, Kayley. GHOSTS do exist in the world; demons live only in the mind of the believers. Ghost are deposits of the energy of a person who inhabited a place or area. They remain resonating in that place, and sometimes a person sensitive to the vibrations will form an image of the person who left the deposit there. A ghost can remain for years if the place is not disrupted, but usually degrades and eventually disappears if the area is disturbed. Painting a room will often be all that is necessary to remove the ghost image.

Psalms 146:3-4 when this breath goes the thoughts perish, 1 Tim.6:16 humans do not have immortality, only God has, and never does the term Immortal and soul used together, never. 1 Cor.15:51-54 we receive immortality only when Christ returns, Psalms 115:17 the Dead do not praise God, Acts 2:34 David did NOT ascend to heaven. Psalms 6:5 in the grave there is no remembrance of God. Eccl. 9:5 the dead do not know anything. Job 19:25-26 The righteous will be resurrected to see God at the Last day. Eccl.18:4 The soul [person] who sins will die, [speaking of that Rev.20:14, 21:8 the "effects" of Hell is forever NOT the burning itself sinners and satan dies only those in Heaven never die] Romans 6:23 the wadges or natural results [which Christ paid for] of sin is death. 2 Tim. 4:7-8 Paul awaited the coming of The Lord for His final reward. and in Rev. 22:12 when Christ returns His reward is WITH HIM. Maybe , maybe not, it is one of those questions that are still to this day unexplained. My mom was a nurse in a hospital in India. While she was working there she told me how when the power used to go out the hallway would be empty and she would see white figures walking around. We just don't know, maybe one day we will.

Well, basically I believe sometimes people who die can't really find peace. They don't appear as specters like in the movies and stuff, but I believe their energy is still very much active, which explains why some things would move.
