Where are local cooking classes in Fremont, CA?

Cooking Classes For A Teen!?!?!?

  • I love food. Not in the im fat and love to eat it,(not that that's bad or that i dont like to eat food) but i mean in an i watch cooking shows 24/7 and am in love with how you prepare a meal. Cooking is my life. ONLY PROBLEM..... I dont know how to cook. Bad, i know. So what im asking for is a free online cooking class or an actual class. ( i live in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina). Ive looked online and have found classes but I don't know which are good and which are not. Please answer my question and i hope the class can fit in my busy schedule. Thanks in advance!!!

  • Answer:

Cooking is your life but you don't know how to do it? You should probably re-evaluate your life right about now in a more logical manner. Also, you are NOT going to find a free class thats decent. And an online class isn't going to teach you much at all that you're actually going to be able to use. Sadly, I highly doubt you'll try to get into a class at your local community college, so I'm going to suggest youtube videos.

just google some recipes and follow them, the more you cook, the more you will learn. If something goes wrong, find out what you did wrong and don't do it wrong. The best way to learn is to just cook as much as possible, and don't be afraid to try new things. Cooking classes are generally expensive, and run by people who don't really know what they are talking about.

have you looked at food network/utube online? i don't know of any classes but just look online for things you want to cook. you can learn how to cook things. i learn to cook beans and rice, peas and rice, ox tails, roast, ect. wow, you live in sc, throw a stick out the door and hit a good cook ask somone for help, especially with the food choices available.

I doubt you will find any free cooking classes. What you can do, is to start by cooking things that are easy. Does your mom or dad cook? Ask them to teach you what they know. Find out if your high school offers a cooking class, some still do. Try to learn as much as you can now and when you graduate high school, enroll at your local community college. Most of them offer culinary classes. Things that are easy and you can learn to do now: cook pasta fry an egg make pancakes cook a pot of oatmeal or cream of wheat hard boil eggs and make egg salad practice slicing onions make a nice salad and salad dressing You will have some disasters, every cook does, even experienced ones. I have been teaching my 15 year old daughter how to cook. She loves it. She can now even make lasagna and I can sit and supervise. If you have specific questions on how to make anything, you can email me any time. I would be happy to share what I know.
