What should i do to make my girlfriend's parents trust me?

  • My girlfriend and I have been dating for alomost 5 months now. Her parents will not let us go on dates, or hang out anywhere but her house, because her dad dose not trust me, due to the fact that i am a guy. We do not have sex, nor will me until we get married, nor do we kiss. I have done nothing to make her dad misttrust me, in fact i have know the family well for 13 years. any adive on what i can do to make her dad able to trust me more? thanks

Go to the father personally and ask for his permission to take his daughter out. Agree with his rules. Also, offer to help him out around the house, maybe that will help.

request for the family to go on outings all together, dinners, bbqs whatever. personally offer to help the dad or talk to the dad often. greet him every time you come over and sit down and talk to him. he just doesnt trust you yet. once he sees you have good intentions, he will loosen up a bit, but he does want to guard his daughter against having sex so soon.

Just be yourself, you seem like a good guy. Don't try to hard to impress them but always respect them and if you go to their house make sure to clean dishes after eating and stuff. Dont kiss or makeout infront of them because they probs dont want to see their "baby" grow up.
