How To Sing Properly?

How do you sing properly & powerfully?

  • Singing is a known method for getting rid of stress and tension, as well as having fun, so I want to try as a hobby. Because of University commitments I can't go out for lessons, and can't afford them, so I want to teach myself. So...How do you sing properly? The most practice I've had is singing in the school choir. Any tips, dos and don'ts and helpful comments will be appreciated.

singing powerfully comes from the heart here's a list of stuff i do 1.breathing control breath in and out 2.to do the high notes squeeze your butt tight(it's weird but it works) 3.to improve your voice practice do ray me fa so la te da everyday 4.practice 5.never drink milk before you sing it clogs up your vocal chords (you can still drink milk but not right before you sing) 6. drink water before you sing it clears your throat and makes you sound good 7. don't let anyone get you down (good luck)
