If I download the Windows OS onto my Mac, will it remove my mac OS?

I have a Macbook (OS X) and there are some applications that I want to use that are not compatible to Mac (such as Microsoft Project, etc). I actually have two questions: 1. If I download the Windows Operating System onto my Mac, will it remove the Mac Operating System that I have? 2. If I do download the Windows Operating System, will it allow me to access and download 'non-Mac' applications such as Microsoft Project?

the only way that would happen is if you didn't create a partition and used bootcamp, and because your now on Windows a lot of MAC based documents or programs wouldn't work.
