How do I get colored contacts?

How can i convince my parents to let me get colored contacts?

  • I have brown eyes and brown hair and i think that's really boring. I want to get blue or green colored contacts but my parents won't let me(like everything else i want to do too:p) and i've been asking for about a year now. I'm a very responsible person and i have a daily routine so i would be good with making sure they're clean and taken out before bed. I would also pay for them so i don't see what the big deal is. How can i convince them to let me get them finally?

    Are you talking about the oh so popular circle lenses? Or prescription lenses? I would understand why they wouldn't want you to get the circle lenses (unsafe, etc.) but if your getting prescription ones from the doctor, I would bring them along so the doctor can explain everything to them.
