What are some types of commercials?

Resolution,(movies,commercials... types how why?

  • Its kinda hard to explain it. Like when there's a commercial on tv, you can tell its a commercial just by the way the picture looks, is this the resolution or what. Like when they make movies what is it about the camera that you can tell it a movie. When you compare like the news and a commercial video camera. what is that big difference. pr when they spoof a music video you can tell its a spoof just by the camera?Hard to explain.

  • Answer:

The look of a movie or video depends on a boatload of different factors, so it's hard to summarize. The type of sensor used and its size matter, as does the type of lens used, the amount of light in the scene and its sources and colors, the exposure, the shutter speed, the frame rate, the gamma, and many other things. In general, the more money you spend on the camera, the better the picture quality will be, but beyond that it gets complicated. Resolution is an important factor, but so is the quality of the individual pixels. An image can have high resolution but still look fuzzy if the individual pixels aren't of good quality. The quality of the pixels depends on the sensor, the processing inside the camera, the lens, the number of pixels in the sensor as compared to the number of pixels in the final image, and other variables.

Another element to help identify the quality of a production is the lighting. Unless you are specifically looking for it, the lighting can be a very subtle cue to the quality. Couldn't think of a good source for this, but it would be a good topic to explore if you wanted to find out more about this.
