How do you animate an avatar in GIMP?

On GIMP i am making a pixelated avatar...?

  • Answer:

If you are talking about painting one pixel at a time, you need to use the pencil tool, not the brush tool. If you try to use the brush tool, the brush won't do solid single pixels because it is not designed for that. Select the pencil tool instead, then in the pencil tool options choose the circle (01) brush.

if you are referring to 1 pixel, go to the tools window, click on the brush type, at bottom of window, select the hollow square, and move the capacity meter thingy to 0.20. zoom in, and this is a 1 by 1 pixel
