    Replace every old light with a fluorescent. Remove posters from windows to let in more natural daylight, but fit curtains to keep the heat in in the winter. Remove light switches and replace with sensors to turn the lights off in empty rooms. Set the computers to turn off when not being used, including monitors. There are special plugs that can do that for a PC. Put the heaters on a timer that switches off before the end of school, and make sure they are off in the holidays. Get solar panels fitted and a wind turbine. For a laugh why not replace the sports hall with ranks of exercise bikes to power a turbine.
