First bike , what type should i get?

Get what you like, man! What bike sits comfortable with you? What bike do you sit comfortable with? The biggest thing is learning how to ride in a safe and sane manner. That's a life long occupation. Most long time riders recommend getting an old, used bike. One that's runs ok, and that's safe. Learn to ride it well, learn a little maintenance on it, and learn to be comfortable on two wheels. After awhile you'll know whether you even want to ride a bike. After awhile, you'll know when to trade up. Best to ya! Let's ride!

In many cases this isn't really a fair question to ask, as everyone will have a different opinion! However, there are some bikes that are agreed upon more than others. The Ninja 250 is considered to be the gold standard for beginner motorcycles, and typically for good reason. They can be found in great numbers on the second hand market, are extremely reliable and low maintenance, get incredible gas mileage, and have pretty managable insurance payments. They have very few cons, the only one being that they are pretty small dimensionally(though for your size it shouldnt be an issue) and some people find them uncomfortable. Some may find them underpowered for their tastes, but for a beginner it should be fine, and it should be able to get you to highway speeds without any difficulty. I have never ridden an enduro style bike personally, but I know that they are not highly recommended for first time riders. If you REALLY needed to ride dirt roads than it may be a good choice, but if you will be spending minimal time on dirt, I would avoid them. They typically have very high centers of gravity and seat heights, making them difficult for beginners to handle. Don't overlook cruiser style bikes however, as they will usually get you into a lot less trouble than a sportbike, as well as having lower insurance. The Kawasaki Vulcan 500 and the Yamaha V Star 650 are particularly popular as beginner cruisers
