What is the legal age to serve alcohol in BC?

Refused to serve alcohol even-though i am over 18 and have proof of age?

  • I tried to by Alcohol at my Local Supermarket in the UK, an the staff asked if i had ID which i did, they then said the people im with have to have ID aswell. Now i may be wrong but it does say its Illegal to SERVE anyone under 18, which im not so i am wondering if they are allowed to do this or they were just wanting to be pains.

  • Answer:

I live in the US, but when I worked at the supermarket when I was younger, if a group came in, we had to proof them all before we were allowed to sell one of them alcohol. They should have waited outside.

I don't see what the problem was with it. You're over 18 with a valid ID. They were probably just being pricks.
