How To Cut Hair?

How short should I cut my hair?

• Ok so, my hair is I would say pretty long. It's about an inch and a half below the bottom of my breast. My problem is now that my hair wont grow any longer ( it looks good longer) but also I am a cheerleader and when I tumble I step on it with my hands and causes me to stop and when I put it in a bun it falls out.So, I have 4 choices of lengths. I'll go from shortest to longest. The first one is a bob. This is a new trend and it looks good with a poof and bow and the rest down and I wont tumble on it. The only problem is it might make me look younger if I get it or I might not like it a while after I cut it. The good thing is it's cute and cool for summer and I wont step on it when I tumble and it's a new trend. The second one is to cut it to my shortest layer. Last november(2010) I got a bunchhh of layers put in it and now the shortest one is about an inch after the end of my bra strap and the start of my bra. If i do this i will have no more layers which I will love because I hate layers and I wont step on it when I tumble and it will be decently cool but I hate medium length hair on me and it would be almost there and also its so close to a bob I feel like that would be pointless to cut it there and not into a bob. The third choice is only cutting about an inch off the ends. My hair is layered to where the longest pieces are from the bottom back part of my hair and there aren't many strands of the long pieces/that layer so the few pieces that make my hair long would be cut off and it would be again almost medium length. My hair looks bad in medium length and it doesn't grow there but my hair needs a trim and it might grow if I cut it there but it will take my hair from long to medium just by cutting a little off and that is pretty close (about 2 inches) from where it would be if i cut it to my shortest layer. The fourth choice is not cutting it at all but like I said i tumble on it and buns don't work for me and it has a lot of split ends so it wont grow.
