Please help, Can you order pay per view online if you have a direct tv statellite without an ethernet cable?

Hey guys I am trying to order a live pay per view event on my direct tv tonight but I have a question about ordering. If I do not have a phone line or ethernet cable hooked up to my receiver and I do not want to call and order can I just get online and order my pay per view event? Like will it just be sent directly to my reciever through my satellite if I order it online even if I don't have an ethernet cable? Because when I call and order they send it right to my reciever even though I don't have a phone cable and somehow it plays. But I don't want to call and order because am I worried that the card in my reciever might be full and I just want to order online because I think it goes right on my bill and not on my reciever card if I do it that way. Sorry if this is confusing hopefully someone on here can sort this question out for me haha because I am so confused myself. Thanks everyone. oh and also if this will work (ordering online and it being sent directly to my tv through satellite without an ethernet cable) does it take any time to process like should I order a few hours ahead of time or will it just automatically work?
