Ice skating help please?

Well I might be starting ice skating lessons soon and I need some info. 1) what should I wear? 2) do I need to do all 3 ice skating levels before I can do figure skating lessons? 3) do I need my own ice skates? 4) will I be able to have private coaching? 5) when wearing dresses do we HAVE to wear tights? I hope we do because I hate my legs! 6) how can I make over boot tights look good? At the top of the boot it looks all big and lumpy and horrible when you look at pictures. Thanks for the help.
