Lower abdominal pain?

23 weeks pregnant with bad lower abdominal pain?

  • Answer:

I had the same problem when I was 20 weeks! It was always on my right side of my back! It felt more like a cramp! When I had talked to my doctor about...he said that sometimes there a nerve back there and your baby could be laying on it if not kicking it! He told me to keep a pillow behind my back and keep my feet propped up! Walking does not do the trick btw! SomeOne once told me that! And also to explain the pain in your lower abdominal...your cervix is doing alot of stretching and does cause pain! Club soda worked wonders for me when it came to lower abdominal pain! I hope this helps!

try drinking some water and relaxing for 20min than get up and walk around if it goes away than it's false labor witch will happen a lot b4 u have baby. If it doesn't go away go get checked out. it could b labor

confused

Is it abdominal or pelvic? I'm actually having both currently. Do some research on SPD during pregnancy. I get it (have it now) and it's horrible. The body starts to make a hormone called relaxin to widen the pelvis and sometimes makes too much which cause the bones to shift and HURT. I'm 28 weeks and I do get some abdominal pain like a stretching sensation which freaks me out because I've had 3 C-sections. I've noticed sex every few days has made that stretching/ ripping sensation stop and I also sleep better.
