What is ''TIME CAPSULE"?

Can anyone tell me what to do with my Time Capsule 1TB?

• Hello, I have an Apple Time Capsule 1TB, I bought it in June last year, but in November, I had changed it's name from "time capsule 777" to "thameslink" but for everytime I changed the name, it restarted my device and I clicked "Apply" or whatever the option is to save, and so everything was ok, but when i changed it in November to "thameslink" I clicked the SAVE option and it restarted, but this time the device disappeared from the "DEVICES" list in the Finder sidebar, so I tried soft reset, nothing worked, it won't even show up in AirPort Utility.app. I've even tested to see that it's connected to my WiFi network and it is! Please help me! I'm worried my MacBook Pro may cease or break down and I'll lose everything, and failing that, I have very important family videos/photos on the Time Capsule!!!!
