What are my rights as a student when my school uses CCTV?

The ONLY right you have is the right to not have cameras in "personal" space like in the bathroom. Other than that, you are either in public with no "expectation of privacy", or you are on private property where they can do anything they want unless it's in the bathroom, depending on if it's a public or private school, respectively.

other than filming you in a bathroom or tracking your restroom habits you have no right to privacy while in school, as a matter of fact a school is LIABLE for your safety while in their care, so you have no rights

You only have rights where you have "a reasonable expectation of privacy". If the cameras aim anywhere near one of those areas you can request to see the image. If it's capturing an area with "a reasonable expectation of privacy" the police can enforce that they either re-aim the camera or use video masking to block out the offending area. Colin B
