Why does sony vegas pro output video files in very huge size?
-
i am using sony vegas pro and im having a lot of difficulties with it.sony vegas pro stands out to be the best on the market but it is very hard to use it.i am having a few videos which are large in size and i want to cut out the unecessary scenes from it.i have several videos like this and i want to cut out the unecessary scenes from each video and join all the main scenes together.the reason i am doing this is coz i wanna save some space and what vegas does is exactly the opposite,it double occupies my space.i had an mp4 video about 79mb in size,i split the video into a few parts and deleted the unecessary parts and then merged the remaining parts.therefore thew video size is reduced coz i cut out the huge unecessary parts.the format of the video is in mp4.attention this is a not an HD video.this video is from the am of my computer and has extremely poor quality.the 54min video is 79mb in size.now i clicked on 'render as' and output the video in the desired folder.i did my custom settings and i made sure that all the quality output settings of the video were just normal or low.i tried normal and low but not high quality.after this was done the process began it was taking hell lot of time to render my video and i output the video also only in its same mp4 format with 640x480.the rendering was taking toomuch time almost 2 hours and finally when everything was done i got a video, guess what????............this f**kng video was 3.7gb in size.what the hell is that?we cut videos to see the best scenes together and to also save some disk space.i have vegas pro 10. i shouldnt have bought this software,it costs a lot of money but doesent reach my expectations, doesent give me what i want except for its cool functionalities.help me what do i do.is there any other software for doing basic cut and paste function for videos faster?
