What is the best place to stay in Los Angeles, California?

  • I'm staying in LA with my family this summer, and have never been to California before. I was wondering what town is the best place to stay - Hollywood, Downtown LA? I would like to be close to Universal Studios, Hollywood, and other fun places to go see with my 2 teenagers. So if anyone would help me it'd be greatly appreciated. Also, any hotel recommendations or things to do while in LA would be wonderful!! Thanks

    I would not stay downtown for sure and probly not Hollywood either. Try a safer city closeby like Glendale or Burbank.

Hollywood would be a good idea. You'd be clost to a lot of tourist attractions and just a short drive to many others. Don't stay in the downtown area, is just is not a nice place to stay. Hollywood and the downtown area are parts of Los Angeles, it's all one big city.
