Fingernail falling off, will it grow back?

My hair is falling out sooo much more than it used to, why? is it going to grow back?

  • well basically, I suffered with an eating disorder last year which lasted for about 5-6 months, my hair was absolutely fine the whole time, I have been in recovery and eating better for about 3 months but I've noticed that my hair is falling out constantly, it never used to fall out this much and I used to have really thick hair, and people are noticing it getting thinner. I was wondering if it's going to stop falling out and grow back anytime soon? It's really affecting my self-esteem and confidence because I used to have such lovely thick and long hair, and I used to get compliments on my hair all the time and now it's embarrassing how much falls out! HELP :(

  • Answer:

long hair tends to fall out easier. but i'm thinking that because you had an eating disorder, your hair is trying to balance and it's been weakened. you might want to go see a dermatologist or a doctor and they can give you a medicated shampoo to make it thick again!
