What qualifications do you need to become a midwife?

I am searching for the steps to become a Certified Midwife not Certified Nurse Midwife. Need help on the steps?

Don't be shy, this could be your market area as well when you are in business. -You could also search online at mana.org (midwives alliance of north america). -Another great idea is to contact schools that offer the programs that you are looking for. It is good to get your feet wet and see all of the possibilities available. I am going for my CNM and in 2015 it will require a doctorate, so I can see why others would want to choose a different path.
