What can i do about a cyst on the back of my earlobe?

  • I have this big cyst of some kind on the back of my earlobe and its gotten bigger over a couple of years. I went to a skin specialist and they said that it was harmless but i want to get it removed without surgery if possible. I'm really self-conscious about it and won't even tie my hair up because people notice it. It's really stubborn and embarrassing, if anyone has any suggestions/remedies that actually work please let me know.

    I had one before. I put a warm wet towel on the affected area for about 10 minutes, dried the area.. Then I put hydrogen peroxide on a q-tip and pressed and rubbed it against the cyst for a bit, it stung. Turned into a zit looking thing, did this 3-5 times a day for about a week eventually the cyst protruded to the surface. Once the cyst came out there was a crater where it was, I used neosporin, now you can't even tell it was there. Hydrogen peroxide is about $1, won't hurt to try.

Tell you the truth, without an surgery it's not possible. It's only a small surgery and than this cyst is gone and you're not longer embarrassed any more..
