What does a production engineer do?

Career as a production engineer in composite materials industry?

  • I have done one year (from NZ) )masters degree in composite materials and i liked it very much. I am not interested in designing but i more inclined towards manufacturing or production. Presently, I am taking experience as a composite technicain and production engineer. Can you please guide me for the future , I mean future opportunities and scope in composite materials manufacturing. Am I on a right track for a good career or I should not waste my time working as a technician as composite materials industry is not big.............. which country offers good opportunities?

    I think composite manufacture will be around for many years to come so its a fairly good choice as long as you find a location where a lot of such work is going on. Look for areas where large aerospace facilities are of F1 racing cars are made
