Where can I make a birthday card and print it online for free?

I am trying to make a birthday card that is 4inx9in. I can't figure out how to print it out on my printer...?

  • Answer:

I'd format a page in a word processing program to 8" x 9" and print it on a regular 8.5" x 11" heavy paper, then trim the margins with a paper trimmer. Easy way to do it: The standard margins are 1". Increase the side margins to 1.25" and the top margin and bottom margin to 2" and put your card in the middle. Set the page for 2 columns. The message for the outside of the fold goes into Column 2. If you want the inside message only on the right side, it goes in Column 2 as well. Print duplex if you have it or put the page through twice (once for each side) if you don't have duplexing.
