PSP game wont play. My PSP turns off. How to fix ISO/CSO file?
-
I cant play the game because my PSP turns off and the game only says " Now Loading " and turns off. I have Final Fantasy Type 0 Disc 1 and Disc 2 ISO/CSO file (it has a " / " because it means that I can change it to ISO and CSO file) I DO NOT have actual discs, only a downloaded file from some store here in the Philippines. http://a7.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash3/539005_373343529366906_100000737864581_1139002_152512329_n.jpg Highlight this link and open it in a new tab. - This what it looks like when I open my PSP. When I open the Disc 1 (the first one on the link I gave) it says " Now Loading " at the bottom right and my PSP turns off after a few seconds and when I open Disc 2 (the second one on the link I gave) the same thing happens. The size of the Final Fantasy Type 0 Disc 1 is 1.67 GB while the size of the Final Fantasy Type 0 Disc 2 is 1.61 GB. My PSP is PSP 3001 version 6.60 and has PRO B-10. (I DO NOT HAVE ACTUAL DISCS ONLY ISO FILES THAT I BOUGHT IN SOME STORE HERE AND I'M IN THE PHILIPPINES) If my game is broken, how to fix ISO/CSO file? (PSP GAME) THANKS. I WILL GIVE 5* TO THOSE WHO WILL HELP ME SOLVE MY PROBLEM.

Answer:
I haven't been into the PSP scene in quite a while, but... I'll try to help. First things first, press SELECT while browsing the XMD, and try different UMD Drivers to get it to load correctly. If that doesn't work, then try playing the game uncompressed, only ISO's. Some games don't work too well when compressed, and others ONLY work when compressed. I think some games have "expected" loading times to prevent piracy, seeing how MS data access is a LOT faster than the UMD. It's usually with older games though. If none of these attempts work, then it may be the data itself being corrupt. Check some other things that could be screwing with the game. Silly little things like... a plugin being activated that may be conflicting with the game, or tweaking the CPU speed a bit, setting it back to default or something. I wish you the best of luck, sir.
