How do I make my makeup collection smaller?

  • -I want to minimize my collection and slim it down. I've used to collect makeup last year, and to tell you the truth, I've been hoarding makeup nonstop. I'm 16 now, and my makeup collection is just too much for me. I've spent nearly $200 on makeup and I'm almost out of money from my bank account. -I already stopped buying makeup since January when I started my "Project 10 Pan" (which I failed at doing that). I've also been swapping at makeup alley and spent nearly $50 on shipping and I swapped ALOT of makeup which wasn't necessary because I keep getting makeup that I don't even need, but I do swap for some skincare and for clothes, etc. My mom blocked me from swapping because she doesn't want to spend money on shipping. -YET, I am still not satisfied on how I'm going to use all my makeup. I gave makeup that I don't use to my sisters (they hated the makeup I gave them and they usually break them :'(. -I've also threw away makeup that has already expired and that I haven't used in a long time. What should I do to slim down my makeup collection???? It's better than last years, but I want it much less, I want all my makeup to fit in a makeup bag.

    Keep on using it until it disappears, just use the ones you like on important occasions and use the ones you don't like on regular days

Dude, I've spent just under 700$ in makeup in one year, and I'm 14. What's the point of downsizing? Variety is the spice of life!

this is what i do , i get a small makeup purse/bag thing , for the makeup , i use on daily base like - brown , silver eyeshadow -masacra -eyeliner -lipgloss -liquid eyeliner , - & some brushes & i have a big makeup case , with all the makeup , i dont use daily , but i use for like picture day , partys , concerts , & holidays , hopefullly i helped !!

You don't need to slim down on your makeup collection. To be honest i have 3 big bins full of make up. What you need to do, and find a daily makeup routine that will work for your everyday needs. I have about 5 to 8 products i use everyday so I keep them in my makeup bag and store the rest away for another day. I do this because I get bored of my makeup routines very fast and I like to switch it up a bit so I go back to where I store my make up and replace the items in my makeup bag for new makeup.
