Do i have to pass customs/immigration in a connecting flight in jordan?

Hello, can anyone tell me, Im an Egyptian flying from Egypt connecting in Jordan and going to Miami, do i have to pass through immigration in jordan to connect with my next flight? or i just go through "connecting flights and pass security and go on...? (and yes, i have a visa to the USA) Thank you for the answers!!

There is no pre-clearance in Jordan. You will go through Immigration and then Customs in Miami. You will be "in-transit" through Jordan.
