Are carpet beetles harmful to human health?

Carpet beetles. Help?

• I've seen the same beetles around my room for a long while now, I notice one about once a week, on my bed and the walls. I've only just discovered that they're carpet beetles. I heard vacuuming a LOT helps but I have a very small box room, so moving everything out of it to hoover all the time would be tricky and my bed rests on the floor. I noticed an empty larvae casing in a cupboard filled with junk I never use. I can't open the cupboard without having to move my bed and it's a king. I have my clothes on hooks everywhere and my room's full to the brim with my things, so they must have plenty of hiding places. Any help on how to rid my room of these buggers?

  carpet beetles larvae feed off of keratin rather than cellulose, so shed hairs and skin cells from you and any pets not cleaned up, after time will give them an ample food supply....chances are they had started in storage areas where you may have some woolens not being worn. Any woolens need to be cleaned before storing...treat baseboards and corners with an insecticide
