How can i find a job that i want in the future?

I want to become a dentist in the future, where can I find a job this summer?

  • I'm currently a first year undergrad and I would like to find a job in the field just for the summer while I'm home from school. I was thinking about going to a bunch of offices and telling them that I'd either take the receptionists job while she is gone for vacation (for about a week), or maybe I could fill in for the dental assistants while they are on vacation. Do you think they'd accept me? I know that a dental assistant needs a degree and I really have no experience in dentistry so I don't think they would take me seriously. What can I offer them? I really want to further my knowledge, and it looks good for dental schools, but I have no idea where to start.
