How does study of OB differ from the study of other subjects such as finance, accounting, and taxation?

    You can call finance, accounting, taxation etc as more of technical subjects.... you know the formula, theory, just apply it and get the answers.. while OB is more of behavioral subject. You have to analyse the situation and then find out the solution. You have to learn various experiments carried out across the world about human behavior while studying OB (like principal agent problem, MIT experiment etc ) whereas in finance you will have to study the theory. OB is mostly related to psychology. In OB you will learn how people behave in certain situations and based on that how to avoid failures while working in an organisation.
