How are songs without vocals called?

About a couple of songs that came out in the late 60's.?

  • Back in the late sixties, two songs were on the charts that had incredible horn section work. I think I remember the titles but can not remember the bands names. The first song is called "Get it on in the mornin' " with vocals in it. The second is just instrumental and is called "Horse". I would love to be able to find them again. Like I said the horn parts are great! I've searched iTunes with what little information I have and came up empty. Now I'm asking all of you to please help me find these correct titles and artists (bands). THANK YOU!!! as an after thought....one of these songs may have come out in the early 70's Thanks Again!
