How to get people to watch your YouTube videos?

Yes, I know. Get a better camera, try to be loud, get a good editing program, put boobies in your thumbnail! I know, I've seen enough of those videos! I need to know how to get people to even notice your videos are there and you have a YouTube account. Commenting on other people's videos about your channel doesn't help, just gives you a ton of hate comments. Anyway, I just wanted to know. You can't attract people if your videos are good than people will watch your videos by themselves no promotion needed !!!
