Why is amazon a sparse place?

Is amazon a great place to shop?

  • Because I told my uncle to get something for as a reward(like a game)for something I did,and he said that he ordered the game on amazon and that he decided that amazon should ship the order directly to my home(by mail I think). I just wanted to ask if amazon is reliable because last time I asked him something different that he ordered on ebay and that he mailed it here but unfortunately it never came. He also said that he just placed the order yesterday and that it was going to arrive at my home in the mail on April 3rd 2012 Tuesday or probably on Wednesday or Thursday in that same week. Hope it arrives... Thanks for the answer

    I've bought some things from Amazon, and all my orders arrived on time. I typically only buy stuff that is fulfilled by Amazon, so that Amazon is the one shipping the item rather than a seller. Amazon's customer service has been great, from my experience.

Yes, Amazon itself is very reliable, I've gotten a ton of things from them. However, they now also allow individuals to sell stuff from their site, and reliability varies. But I've never had something not come when I ordered it. They run a pretty good business.
