Which is the best place to live,south,east,or west london?

I would say West, though, having lived in the South for a while (10yrs, now I am back where I was born- North-East London) I have found that it can be a lovely area. People are as friendly as ever, but of course there are a few areas where I would never go in- stick out of those, and the south is fine! East is okay too, but I find it dirtier, greyer and more depressing than other parts of London (lived in the East 2yrs, West 4yrs, South 10yrs, North-East 25yrs, I have lived all over London). The West is vibrant and fun, but generally safe. You missed out the North- which is my fave place in London! If you live in the North-Eastern areas, it is quite nice, especially in the Walthamstow/Waltham Abbey/ Redbridge/ Woodford area, with the benefit of parks and Epping Forest. So- West from your choice, but North overall.

West definitely but there are nice places in east London if you go to the outer suburbs like Hainault or Loughton. South - Beckenham, Bromley, Kingston, Richmond, Barnes, Mortlake, Ham are very nice

West is probably the safest although certain parts can be dodgy at night, south west is probably the best.

Richmond/Tickenham (South West London) are among the best.

I live in South East in the central but I'd say West is the best and safest.

you left out North,which has the better sites and is more suburban than some of the other parts

Look for a place close to Kew Gardens.
