How do you make an avatar on yahoo answers?

    If you want a cartoon avatar first go to http://avatars.yahoo.com/ and create and save your avatar there. Then on Answers go to My Activity > Edit My Preferences (http://answers.yahoo.com/my-activity/edit/about ) > Update photo or avatar. From here you can set your avatar or choose a photo from your computer to be on Answers. An alternate method is from your Y! Profile page. Click on My Activity > View Pulse > Edit (person & pencil icon). (http://profile.yahoo.com/y/edit/ ) Then click on your avatar where it says "change picture", click on the one you want and Save at the bottom of the page. One thing though, if you hide your Y! Profile http://profile.yahoo.com/y/settings/privacy/ your avatar will go back to the default exclamation point. Also there are sometimes delays anywhere from a few minutes to over a day before your avatar will change after you have set it
