You can get a japanese hair straightening or a chemical straightening. Heat is probably the cheapest most convenient way. Buy a good flat iron and some oil treatment for your hair like moroccan oil or argan oil as well as really good shampoo and conditioners (you get what you pay for) and start washing your hair every other day. I have the same problem as you. My dad practically has an afro and when I don't straighten my hair it's really dry and curly and just horrible. So i put a little bit of morroccan oil on my hands, rub it and then apply it through my hair and then with the flat iron on a medium to low setting, straighten your hair. The heat helps your hair absorb the oil. With a good conditioner and shampoo your hair will look great. I started doing that and now I get compliments on my hair all the time. And after i straighten my hair, my hair flows in the slightest breeze (though it gets kind of annoying i like how it feels).
