How much should I pay for a wedding photographer?

Where I'm from, professional photography can be as little as $2000 and all the way to $5000. We paid $3600 for our photographer, which is some above average. We were completely satisfied. Good luck

You should be careful though and need to pay attention to the quote they give you and the quality of work. If you don't think they are worth how much they are quoting you for then I say trust your gut. It's best to get a few quotes and also make sure you KNOW for sure what you are going to pay for.

We were so lucky and found someone who has done a lot of modelling photography and are looking to get into the wedding business. We're getting the entire day plus engagements photos for $800. I'm so happy with him, his portfolio was amazing. He said once he gets the experience in two years or so he's going to be charging $2000-3000.
