How to hook up a Dvd recorder?

Can anyone help me hook up my dvd recorder?

New recorder: magnavox model #ZC320MW8B (the one walmart sells.) TV: analog Suddenlink digitaLink Separate box for colored cables. my old recorder had antenna in/out on the back & i connected those to the digitaLink box...this recorder doesn't have connections for antenna in/out. the digitaLink instructions tell me to connect the digitaLink box to "Cable In RF In" on the back of my recorder. this recorder doesn't have a place marked like that either. i can return this recorder if it's just never going to work. what dvd recorder "will" work with my equipment?
