How much can I print out of one Lexmark #2 ink cartridge?

How can i print with an epson printer if one ink cartridge is empty?

  • My epson printer wont allow me to print because one of my ink cartridges is empty (the blue one). Is there a way I can go around this and print because I need to print something asap and I dont have time to go to the store to get more ink. I have tried changing the printing properties to black ink only but it still tells me that I need to replace the cartridge. Is there a way to go around this?

    With most printers you are required to have ink in both the black and color ink cartridges in order to print in black as they work in conjunction with each other. So you will need to have the both color and black ink cartridges with ink, the same thing applies for color. In the printer driver, there is an option for "gray scale" printing. That should use only the black cartridge , but you also will need a usable color cartridge installed for that option as some color ink is also used.
