Stop my laptop screen from fading to black?

I will be hooking up my laptop to my TV tonight to watch a game. Last time I did that my screen would fade to black because I have not used it. I guess its like a energy saver mode? I need to know how to stop it from doing that so I don't have to keep the laptop by me and hit a button every time it does that? Not sure what information you need because I am a computer dummy but here is some. I have a Acer Aspire 4810TZ-4011 I am running Windows 7 Thx

Click on the Battery icon in the taskbar > More power options > Change plan settings (for whichever plan is selected) > Change all values (Dim the display, Turn off the display, Put the computer to sleep) to "Never"
