How to play a game when the video card is not supported?

Video Controller uninstalled itself, don't have the disk, how can I install it so I can play the Sims 3?

I have had the Sims3 for a while now and I have had no problem with playing it on this computer. This is the first time it came up, how do I fix it?     if it is an NVIDIA card, just check for a folder in your C: drive named NVIDIA. the drivers should be there. for ATI, go here: http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/Pages/index.aspx for all other video cards, you will need to go to your computer's manufacturer's website, and go to the downloads or support section to find drivers for your video card... such as "support.dell.com" for DELL, etc.
