Adobe air update difficulties windows?

Since i freakin downloaded this program it;s been nothing but crap... but there is a program I have downloaded that needs the updated version of it to work... Everytime i open the program (adobe air) it says please update.... so i click the update button and it takes me to the adobe webpage... It says "to update or install click the launch button below" so I do and it all goes through then it opens adobe air and it freakin pops up again with the "there is a newer version please update now" i've been going round in circles and been trying to fix it... but it's driving me mental... please help anyone...

I would try un installing the program completely then go to their site and download it again to install it. Adobe AIR is in the right column, you might check system requirements before you download. http://www.adobe.com/ I did notice that it said you might have to temporarily disable your anti virus to install it.
